He is definitely one of the most talented musicians to enter the Indian music scene in recent times. Raghav is only 21 years old and plays a variety of instruments including the saxophone, flute, harmonica, keyboards, clarinet, guitar among others and sings too (whew!) He studied music at the Monash University in Australia. What is noteworthy of mention is this is the first time that a special press showcase has been held by music prior to the recording of an album by an artist. He played some popular English and Hindi numbers at Not Just Jazz by the Bay in Mumbai. Raghav Sachar was recently showcased by Saregama India. Now at the age of 26 he can play more than 30 instruments. His crowning glory was being awarded the Golden Key Award and Earnest Award for excellence in academics in 20 at Monash. He also gave solo concerts while visiting India and worked with Viva and Shubha Mudgal on albums apart from recording for jingles and film soundtracks. It was during this time that Raghav traveled to countries in South East Asia including Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
